Brothers Alexandre, Laurent and Raphaël Elicha founded The Kooples in 2008 as a high-end apparel brand. Taking Parisian street style into consideration when developing the brand, it encourages men and women to dress in a similar fashion – offering timeless basics that work for both. The Kooples’ style is inspired by iconic couples such as Marianne Faithfull & Mick Jagger, Jane Birkin & Serge Gainsbourg and Patti Smith & Robert Mapplethorpe. The Kooples’ philosophy is to reinterpret the art of English tailoring through modern silhouettes and luxurious fabrics.
COPIA began working with The Kooples in March 2014 where a great deal of our work focused on communicating the unique style of the clothing and translating the concept effectively across the GCC region. Over time, we have added to our strategy, which now includes: strategic partnerships which we did with Dubai Art Week and VIP Room; In-store events to showcase its seasonal collections with relevant press and influencers as well as on-going media relations and influencer engagement programs.
Today, The Kooples is widely received throughout the UAE and wider GCC.
