World renowned for its unique and stellar collections of contemporary art from artists across the globe, Opera Gallery is an internationally recognized commercial art gallery with locations in some of the most sought after cities across including: London, New York, Hong Kong, Paris and of course, Dubai.
Although the brand is well-received and known globally, the Dubai gallery, even with its well positioned space geographically in DIFC did not see the volume of sales the other locations across the world were generating and generally speaking, awareness for the brand was limited.
COPIA began working with Opera Gallery in September 2014 to support its goals and re-position it within the region. Working with the newly appointed GM, Sylvain Gaillard, the Dubai outpost looked to give a fresh perspective and positioning on the world of art with the help of executing a fully rounded communication plan which included: media relations, strategic partnerships, events and VIP Outreach.
Today, Opera’s awareness has significantly increased along with its standing and recognition among both the global and regional art scene.
